New for 2024! Scout Programs are now Conservation Connections!
All youth learners and small groups interested in conservation and learning how to be eco-advocates are welcome to participate, including Scouting, 4-H, FFA, homeschool, and any other youth organization.
This redesigned program will have various topics for three different age ranges. Adventure (5-8 year olds), Discovery (8-10 year olds), and Exploration (10-14 year olds). Classes are geared toward engaging all students in hands-on learning while meeting some badge requirements.
Private badge specific classes for entire troops are available by request.

🌿 Before the Zoo opens to the public, you’ll have prime access to some of the most incredible tiny creatures in the Lied Jungle, Desert Dome, and Kingdoms of the Night exhibits. With expert guidance, you’ll learn how to use your macro lens and equipment to capture the intricate textures, colors, and expressions of frogs, lizards, and other small wonders in breathtaking detail.
