Healthy Habitats for All - Curriculum and Resource Kit

An offering by Keep Omaha Beautiful

Explore your urban habitat and study the biodiversity right in your own neighborhood! Students observe and learn about bugs, birds, and mammals to learn the essential components of a habitat: food, water, shelter, and space. Through a combination of scientific observation, songs, community-service work, and creative design, students will explore how the health of an urban ecosystem is influenced by people's choices and actions (e.g., preventing waste/litter, recycling, etc.).
