Medical Research Camp (ages 15-18)

Passion for Science Connects to Research: Boot Camp for Future Scientists. MCC presents hands on molecular skills to high school science fellows to explore their passion for science in scientific research laboratory environment. Focus on two components, "Research as a profession" and "Molecular Skills." Explore work ethics, basics in laboratory and experiments dealing with growing of bacterial cells to isolation of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) and visualization by gel electrophoresis.
